Theatre programs and such.

Plays i've worked on

The Lieutenant of Inishmore by Martin McDonagh '08
- the play that got me hooked

Spring Opera (collaboration theatre dept and music dept)
Suor Angelica by Giacomo Puccini & Three Fat Women of Antibes by Mona Lyn Reese's
- the performance that introduced me to opera and i loved it contradicting to popular beliefs where opera is supposed to be old, traditional and boring..... so NOT TRUE :)

Beauty and the beast The true story by Charles Perrault & dramatized by William Glennon

Altar Boyz by Gary Adler, Kevin Del Aguila, Michael Patrick Walker
- my first musical ... oh so exciting, makes me wana jump on my feet and sing to the world .... ahemmmmmm !!!

Every Christmas Story Ever Told by Michael Carlton, Jim Fitzgerald and John K. Alvarez
- actors were the cutest and the nicest people i know in theatre ... and the Christmas jingles were catchy and oh so beautifully arranged :)

The great American Trailer Park Musical by David Nehls
- Such funny and comedic cast ... work didn't feel like work at all. Actors had such talented lovely voices

The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh
- The second time I worked on a play written by Martin McDonaugh. How coincidental is that? Whilst the horrific story, there is still a sense of touch and love... made me cry.

Plays I've attended on and off campus

Urinetown the musical by Mark Hollman & Greg Kotis(SJSU)

The Secret in the Wings by Mary Zimmerman (SJSU)

Splitting Infinity by Jamie Pachino (San Jose Rep)
- by far my favorite. playwright was superb. touches the soul and questions the mind where we never dared or have thought about but never dared to go close to thinking too much about. The set was especially breathtaking. A love story about ourselves, relationships and about each other. A huge bridge across the stage under the dazzling stars at night.

The Foreigner by Larry Shue (San Jose Rep)

Groundswell by Ian Bruce (San Jose Rep)

The Full Monty by Terrance McNally and David Yazbek (American Musical Theatre San Jose)

Always... Patsy Cline based on a true story by Ted Swindley (San Jose Stage Company)

Hidden Talents (Ballet San Jose)
- My very first ballet performance in the US. So much talent. Which i had the opportunity to witness more shows.

p.s. fond memories of college years :)
