Meaning of color
Sunny day 4th day in a row. I love the California sunshine. But this humid weather is just a little too much for spring. Feels like summer instead. Do you know that colors are influenced by the environment? Colors affect the mood of people. Sometimes it is subconscious but sometimes it is physical. One good example is that rehabilitation centers and hospitals have a pink room. Studies have found that if you put an extremely violent person in a pink room, it can calm them down. So let's also look into the effects of other colors on our moods:
yellow - cheerful, serene, aggressive
orange - distressed, stimulating, disturb
red - loving, exciting, strong
green - youthful, fresh, calm
blue - pleasant, cool, secure
violet - dignified, sad, depressing
black - melancholy, unhappy, fearful
white - pure, tender, soothing
brown - secure, comfortable, disagreeable
